My Experience
I was privileged to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Corporate General Counsel for the Hotel Del Coronado, Ambassador M. Larry Lawrence (Forbes 400), and affiliated businesses from 1978 to 1996, anchoring a four-lawyer in-house legal department providing a full range of business and real estate legal services. Following the death of Ambassador Lawrence and the sale of the Hotel Del Coronado, I opened my practice to provide the same high quality General Counsel legal services to businesses that require timely, cost-effective legal advice. Since opening in 1996, I’ve worked with more than 200 business owners, developers, and individuals.
My Philosophy
Every business owner should have a general counsel, the attorney who knows you, your business, picks up the phone when you call, and answers your questions clearly and concisely. Your general counsel should have broad legal expertise and practical business experience. Your general counsel should be the person you trust will always be looking out for your best interest.

Retainer and Fees
My services are provided either on an all-inclusive retainer basis or on an hourly fee basis, plus reimbursable expenses. I do not bill for word processing, telephone charges, faxes, copies, or other overhead expenses. The initial rate is guaranteed for the first year. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Other services and reimbursable expenses are invoiced monthly in arrears. Adjustments to the retainer are made as necessary.
